Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences  is seeking to fill the following position in the Faculty of Life Sciences following Research Associate in the international research project BambooValue, Work Package 4 (Technology transfer and innovation)

*   BambooValue WP4 (Technology transfer and innovation). The successful candidate will conduct extensive fieldwork in Vietnam: The BambooValue research project will analyze the production and processing of bamboo in the Thanh Hoa province of Vietnam and develop technologies for more sustainable bamboo cultivation and improved processing efficiency along the bamboo value chains. Work package 4 will analyze innovation systems and technology transfer in the bamboo sector and use quasi-experiments on-site to determine the effectiveness of advisory services provided to smallholder farmers.
