Speaking at the meeting, Prof.Dr. Hoang Van Sam - Director of ICD warmly welcomed representatives who visited VNUF and gave a brief introduction about the main functions and tasks of the University as well as its strengths in research and training.

At the meeting, Ms. Luong Bich Phuong said that since 2014, Uppsala University Office in Hanoi has developed cooperation in research and education through joint learning programs, courses and opportunities. Exchange for teachers, students and researchers. Through an extensive liaison network, the office works closely with regional agencies from the Swedish embassy in Hanoi to government ministers, NGOs and universities from Hanoi, Hue to Ho Chi Minh City and the Mekong Delta.

After the representatives of the two sides introduced the main features of their strengths and interests in areas they wanted to cooperate with.
