On the afternoon of August 20, 2024, the Vietnam National University of Forestry (VNUF) had a working session with Professor Andrea Cilloni from the University of Parma, Italy - the oldest university in Europe.

Attending the meeting, on behalf of the University of Forestry, there were Prof. Dr. Hoang Van Sam, Director of International Cooperation Division, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Trinh Hien Mai - Vice Director of Academic Affairs Division; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Thu Ha - Vice Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration.

At the meeting, representatives of the two universities introduced the history and strengths of each side. The areas of interest in the discussion included Economics, Business Administration, Veterinary Medicine, Biotechnology and Sustainable Development. The two sides discussed in depth the sources of scholarships for students and lecturers, as well as the 3+1 program to create opportunities for students to study and experience abroad. In addition, Prof. Cilloni also introduced the Fooder master's program with many attractive scholarship opportunities for Vietnamese students. In addition, the contents of enhancing cultural exchange and scientific research cooperation between the two universities were also discussed.

The working session ended successfully, opening up future cooperation opportunities between the Vietnam National University of Forestry and the University of Parma.
