On October 4, 2024, the Vietnam National University of Forestry (VNUF) in collaboration with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union (FFF Project Management Board) organized a conference titled "Sustainable forest and farm development associated with rural livelihoods in the context of climate change."

Pursuant to Decision No. 1026/QD-DHLN-HTQT dated August 14, 2024 of the Vietnam National University of Vietnam (VNUF) on organizing training courses, the College of Land Management and Rural Development coordinated with the Farmers' Association of Bac Kan province to organize a training course: "Market Analysis and Development (MA&D) for forest and farm production organizations for the northern mountainous provinces of Vietnam" in Bac Kan city for 03 days from August 20 to 22, 2024 within the framework of the cooperation agreement between VNUF and the Forest and Farm Facility Program (FFF) phase 2 of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in Vietnam.

This was the comment of many international and domestic experts at the International Conference on Green Technology and Sustainable Development (GTSD 2024), held in Ho Chi Minh City on July 25, 2024. The conference was co-organized and chaired by four universities, including: Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE), Vietnam National University of Forestry (VNUF), National Penghu University of Science and Technology (NPU, Taiwan), and Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna (RMUTL, Thailand).

From March 6 to 11, 2024, Vietnam National University of Forestry (VNUF) in collaboration with the Swedish Forest Agency and Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences organized the international training workshop "Locally Controlled Forest Restoration" funded by SIDA.

On the afternoon of April 20, 2021,VNUF with the Management Board of Vietnam Forestry Projects and the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) co-organized a workshop on "Evaluating the management mechanism and scale of the forest system in Vietnam". special use of Vietnam in the international context to support the National Forestry Master Plan for the period of 2021-2030”.

On the afternoon of October 12, 2021, Vietnam National University of Forestry and international partners attended the DAAD project kick-off workshop "Transformation for a sustainable future in Southeast Asia (TranSEA)". The session was held online, streamed directly from Eberswalde University of Applied Sciences (HNEE), Germany.

On the morning of October 6, 2021,Vietnam National University of Forestry (VNUF) with Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR) and Lafayette University and Ohio State University, USA jointly organized an international conference. online on sustainable forest management and land use transition – Lessons learned from the US and Vietnam. Conference led by Mr. Hoang Van Sam – Head of International Cooperation Department, VNUF and Ms. Pham Thu Thuy – Senior Global Scientist of CIFOR co-chaired.

On the morning of September 8, 2021, VNUF with the Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR) and the Forest Protection and Development Fund of Son La province coordinated to organize a webinar on the role of forest protection. Payments for Forest Environmental Services (PFES) in support to overcome the consequences of COVID-19 in Moc Chau, Son La, Vietnam. This research project is part of the global research framework of the CGIAR Gender Platform and the CGIAR Research Program on Forests, Trees and Agroforestry (FTA).

On the morning of January 13, 2020, VNUF held an academic exchange and shared experiences on connecting forest governance and ecological networks with effective payment for forest environmental services in Vietnam.

In the framework of the 55-year Anniversary of Vietnam National University of Forestry's (VNUF) Foundation Program, on the morning of November 12, 2019, VNUF organized the International conference "Linkage of higher education, research and international integration to sustainable forest management and bio-economy".

In the morning of October 28, 2019, Vietnam National University of Forestry welcomed and worked with experts from Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology (TUAT), Japan and Colorado State University (CSU), USA.

After 2-Week Intensive Learning in VNUF, the project "EU-Vietnamese Higher Education Network for Sustainable Forest- & Bio-Economy" under the framework by the Erasmus+ Program of the European Union was closing in the afternoon of September 28,2019.

In the morning September 19, 2019, Vietnam National University of Forestry organized the Workshop on internal quality assurance, curriculum development and programme accreditation and external quality assurance within the framework of ERASMUS program "Europe-Vietnamese Higher Education Network for Sustainable Forest- & Bio-Economy"
