The scholarship will be divided into 7 types of students and the application conditions for each type of student are:

- Research students (Master and PhD students): under 35 years old and graduated from University / College.

- Students training teachers: under 35 years old, graduated from the University / College of Education. Have at least 5 years of professional experience.

- University students: from 17-25 years old, have completed high school.

- Students studying in Japan: 18-30 years old. The curriculum must be related to Japanese or Japanese culture.

- Technology university students: 17-25 years old.

- University students training majors: 17-25 years old.

- Young student leadership program (YLP).
