Attending the meeting were Prof. Dr. Pham Van Dien - President, Vice President of Vietnam-Finland Friendship Association, Prof. Dr. Tran Van Chu - President of Vietnam - Finland Friendship Association, Prof. Dr. Hoang Van Sam - Director of International Cooperation Division - General Secretary of the Vietnam-Finland Friendship Association, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ly Tuan Truong, Dean of the College of Wood Industry and Interior Design and all guests.

At the meeting, Prof. Dr. Pham Van Dien welcomed the President of FVFA and the delegation to visit and work at the University, and also expressed his hope that there will be more multilateral cooperation between the parties in training and scientific research, especially in the fields of wood and furniture processing, forestry; training as well as coordinating and supporting the implementation of international projects.

Prof. Dr. Tran Van Chu - President of Vietnam-Finland Friendship Association (VFFA) also thanked the FVFA president and the delegation; discussed the cooperation between the two associations and proposed directions for cooperation in the future.

Prof. Dr. Hoang Van Sam - Director of International Cooperation Division introduced an overview of VNUF regarding training, research, and achievements in international cooperation, especially international cooperation projects with Finland. At the same time, he reported on the activities of the VFFA in recent times and the plan for 2024, including organizing the Congress of the term IV.

On the Finnish side, Mr. Mauri Raveala - President of the Finland - Vietnam Friendship Association highly appreciated the ideas and proposals in the school's research activities and believed in the good relationship between the parties in recent times. Thereby, the FVFA will be ready to support and accompany VNUF in proposing and participating in research on a number of Finnish projects on forestry, forest product and furniture processing, natural resources, wastewater treatment, etc. in Vietnam.

At the meeting, the parties discussed several aspects of the cooperation between the two associations and with VNUF.
