At the meeting was Prof.Dr. Juergen Pretzsch - Director of International Forestry Institute, Dresden University of Technology, Germany. With VNUF's leader there are Prof.Dr. Tran Van Chu - President; Assoc.Prof.Dr. Cao Quoc An - Chairman of University Council; Prof.Dr. Pham Van Chuong - Vice President; Assoc.Prof.Dr. Bui The Doi - Vice President of VNUF, Prof.Dr. Hoang Van Sam - Director of International Cooperation Division; Assoc.Prof.Dr. Do Anh Tuan - Director of Center for Sustainable Forest Management and Forest Certification.

At the signing of the memorandum of cooperation, the two sides exchanged and discussed a number of issues related to the training program and exchange of lecturers and students; scientific research and a number of project activities related to the field of forestry.

After discussion, the two sides agreed to sign a memorandum of cooperation marking the comprehensive and effective cooperation between the two universities to achieve the goals of sustainable, long-term and successful development.
