Advanced Students of Vietnam National University of Forestry get scholarships to study abroad.

Natural Resource Management (Natural Resource Management) is an advanced training program between Vietnam National University of Forestry - VNUF and Colorado State University, USA (Colorado State University - CSU). This sector has been officially implemented since 2009 in VNUF. This is a training program of the Vietnam Government Advanced Training Project implemented from 2005-2015.

The Natural Resources Management (QLTNTN) industry is taught in English taught by professors, experts from Vietnam, the United States and other international students. Students are taught knowledge and practice skills. New, modern capabilities in the world of natural resource management and forest resources. Besides, students also experience practical in national parks, nature reserves and areas suitable for many diverse subjects.

By 11/2018, there were 5 graduated courses. Now they are currently working at universities, research institutes and international organizations at home and abroad. In particular, many students were introduced, or self-seeking, and received prestigious scholarship programs from universities, research institutes and international organizations all over the world to fully support their Masters doctor and doctor.

According to Prof. Dr. Tran Van Chu - President of VNUF, the forestry sector will have many strong progresses, so the demand for high-quality human resources is huge in coming. Advanced Program students are not only confident in English proficiency, but also fully equipped with good knowledge of forest resources and natural resource management in Vietnam and around the world, so they can ability to meet the labor market in the ASEAN region and the world in the areas of training.

From 2016 to early 2019, there were more than 20 students in the courses K55, K56, K57, K58 and K59 received a Master's scholarship in Germany, Finland, Denmark, the United States, Canada, Japan and Korea. In particular, 03 students K55 and K56 after completing their master's program have received full scholarships for doctoral studies in the United States (02 children) and in Japan (01 child). They are: Hua Huy Luan (K55), Tran Thi Mai Anh (K56) studying Ph.D. in the United States; Dinh Quynh Oanh (K56) is a doctoral student in Japan.

In 2018 and early 2019 alone, there were more than 10 students K57, K58 and K59 received scholarships for master's study in Germany, Japan and Finland. They include:

- Le Duc Anh (K57) and Doan Thanh Tung (K56) get a scholarship from the German Academic Exchange Agency (DAAD) under the Göttingen University International Forestry and Tropical Forestry University and University Technology Dresden.

- Phan Quoc Dung and Nguyen Ha Anh (K58) won the prestigious ERASMUS MUNDUS scholarship - a full scholarship to the Master and PhD program of the European Union (EU), the Management of Sustainable Tropical Forest at the University Technological University of Dresden, Germany.

- Tran Thi Thuy (K58) won the MEXT Scholarship 2018 for Master degree - Shizuoka University, Japan.

- Pham Thuy Linh (K58) won the MEXT 2018 Scholarship Program - the University of Tsukuba, Japan.

- Vu Thi Thanh Hoa (K58) got 02 scholarship programs for Master of Sustainable Tropical Forestry (SUTROFOR) and Sustainable Forest and Nature Management Scholarship (SUFONAMA) according to ERASMUS MUNDUS.
- Hoang Thi Phuong Thao (K58) won the full scholarship of Master of Sustainable Tropical Forestry (SUTROFOR) ERASMUS MUNDUS program.

- Le Thi Thuy (K59) - Full scholarship of Master of Sustainable Tropical Forestry (SUTROFOR) ERASMUS MUNDUS program.

Dinh Quynh Oanh and Pham Vu Minh are studying at Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology, Japan.
After graduating with a Master's degree in 2018, Oanh has continued to receive a PhD of the University.

Nguyen Nguyet Anh (K57) at the University of British Collumbia, Canada (UBC). She received a scholarship for two years of a master's degree, including the UBC International International Student Scholarship (International Tuition Award), a Scholarship for the Excellent Student Department (UBC Faculty of Forestry Strategic Recruitment Fellowship).

Doan Thi Minh Thuy (K57) studied Geography & Planning at the University of Saskatchewan, Canada follows Saskatchewan Innovation and Opportunities Scholarship (SIOS)

Pham Thuy Linh (K58) won the MEXT 2018 Scholarship Program - Tsukuba University, Japan
and prepare for admission at the beginning of April 2019.​

Le Thi Thuy (K59) - Scholarship for Master of Sustainable Tropical Forestry (SUTROFOR) Erasmus Mundus program.​

Le Duc Anh (K57) won a scholarship from the German Academic Exchange Agency DAAD
Master of International Tropical Forestry at Göttingen University, Germany.
